Sustainable solar energy and regional food are behind the Food & Energy Concept from SUNfarming! The Food & Energy greenhouses are being built on an area of around 8.82 hectares in collaboration with the University of Anstribae Madagascar. In future, local vegetables, fruit and flowers will be grown here between the rows of modules. This project not only combats unemployment, but also offers people a sustainable improvement in their living conditions!

We support projects like this with technical know-how.

As part of the BMZ’s develoPPP.de program , SOLprime installed various mounting systems on the grounds of UNI Ucasal – Universidad Católica de Salta in Argentina. The lecturers received their first briefing on the functions and structure of the systems during installation. In future, the systems will now serve as demonstration objects for the students.

An important way to encourage the young generation to focus on renewable energies. The Colegio San José school was supported with a greenhouse with 16 modules. Here, disadvantaged young people now have the opportunity to grow their own vegetables as well as producing their own electricity.

Food & Energy Concept West Africa In many regions of the world, there is no reliable power supply. The cost of creating a stable power grid is very high, especially as long lines have to be laid for low power. Bureaucratic hurdles are insurmountable and require a great deal of patience and time. From our own professional work in Togo/West Africa, we at SOLprime know that development aid not only needs money and volunteers, but also opportunities for local businesses. Even in difficult times, we stay in contact with our partners and associated colleagues in Togo/West Africa. With the first use of SOLprime off-grid technology, an initial understanding and know-how of sustainable electricity production on a regenerative basis, where primary energy does not have to be paid for directly, is being developed locally.
